Our history

From roadside tavern to mountain lodge

The lodge began as a hotdog stand along the old Highway 26. In 1925 the Oregon Trail Tavern was built here, serving travelers as an eatery, lodging and gas station. Later the Oregon City Ski Club called it home, before it became Paradise Trail Lodge.
